About the Author

Forbes Burkowski is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department, University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Over the past four years he has served as the Director of Bioinformatics and participated in the design of the undergraduate program in Bioinformatics at the University of Waterloo. He has taught the fourth year Structural Bioinformatics course since 2003.
